Here are 5 ways Moms can look and feel great – simply! I’ll post 5 more tomorrow.
Comfort Plus Class: A t-shirt, a belt and a pair of Capris with a cute pair of flip-flops feel as good (and usually better) than sweats and a hoodie. You can be comfortable and classy – simply.
Makeup in a Minute. Use at least two makeup products: lip gloss (or lipstick) and mascara, are essential. You’ll feel pretty with very little effort. If you have time, add another product, like a light water-based foundation that will even out your skin and give it a subtle glow.
Fit to Flatter. Wear clothes that fit you properly. Too tight or too baggy = a bad fit.
Your clothes can look fabulous when they fit right, even if you’re not the weight you’d like to be. A good fit makes you look thinner, brighter, and happier. Remember, for the most attractive silhouette, pair one fitted piece with one loose piece.
Dress for the Day. It’s important to get your exercise in, but wearing your exercise clothes to run errands in, defeats the purpose, which is to look better. Why not exercise before first thing in the morning? It’s amazing how much better you’ll look and feel when you’ve cared for your body and are dressed for the day. If you spend your day playing with children or grandchildren, don’t give in to the temptation to “dress down.” There are a lot of cute shoes, hats, and shirts in color combination s you love and look great in.
Be Adorable. Allow yourself to look and feel as adorable as you think your kids are. All it takes is one item – a piece of jewelry, a shirt, a cute pair of shoes, or a pretty undergarment. You might want to try a one-minute daily meditation to think about what actually pleases you.
