Short shorts
You wait all winter to wear them: shorts. The trend is to wear your shorts, short. This style is darling on children, but from that point on, it’s more risky than a good style choice. An excellent option is to choose knee-length shorts that skim your leg line and can be worn with a blazer over a tank top, and then paired with low-heeled sandals for work or lunch out with the girls. When you get back home, “changing” is a breeze: take off your blazer and sandals, and you’re ready for a walk, an iced tea on the patio, or the hammock. Capris are a great casual summer choice, but watch where the stop line is on the leg – you want it to hit at a flattering point of the calf. If you have short legs consider a neutral tone that is similar to your skin color. The horizontal shortened line of a capri can make some legs look shorter and weightier. If you want to feel more feminine and still stay cool, a soft, flowing skirt with a tank top or cap-sleeve blouse is a lovely option.
